Heckington Show - The Largest Village Show in England
Sleaford will have a large stand at the show. Members are requested to keep these days free and to volunteer to assist in various ways. This is our largest public event of the year.

Sleaford Beekeepers - June Open Meeting - This is a change to the previously advertised topic and we will be mainly organising arrangements for our stand at the Heckington Show.
It is our intention this year to promote the cause of wild bees this not just honey bees. This is Sleaford Beekeeper's most important engagement with the pubic. All members are requested to volunteer two or more hours during the show to help person the stand or to help set up the stand on the Friday evening. Non-members are welcome as always.

Sleaford Beekeepers - March's Open Meeting - First Inspection.
Our next meeting is on Tuesday 26th March at the Wagon and Horses, Caythorpe, starting at 7.30pm, where the topic will be a summary of the recent Lincolnshire Beekeepers Association Annual General Meeting, then a talk on “First Season Inspection” a great insight into that first chance of the year to do a full inspection of your bees.

February's Open Meeting - interesting things you’ve done over the year.
Our February meeting will be held on Tuesday 26th at the Wagon and Horses, Caythorpe, starting at 7.30pm, all are welcome. A map is available here.
The theme of the evening will based around members photos and videos of interesting encounters they have had with bees this past year. Members are requested to send digital content to Simon Croson before the 19th February. Any member with printed photos could bring then along especially if they are around a theme.

January 25th
January's meeting will be the Annual General Meeting.
Our AGM will be held on Friday 25th January starting at 7.30pm, all members and potential members are welcome to attend. A map is available here.
This is members main opportunity to influence the direction Sleaford Beekeeper will take in the coming year.
All posts are up for election. So this is your opportunity the give back to the organisation. Please consider making a contribution. We are all volunteers so understand the demands on people's time. Some posts require less than one evening a month.
All nominations, agenda item suggestions, motions for debate should be sent to the Secretary ten days before the AGM so that they may be circulated to members.
